Bag it: à la mode™ handbags are best known for simple, elegant design aesthetic and innovative use of materials: seat belts, neoprene, and upholstery, from manufacturers who would otherwise discard them. We embrace the challenge of taking industrial elements and making them into beautiful and useful objects. Handbags come in a variety of rich upholstered fabrics, functional designs, and urban styles with signature straps made from automobile seatbelts, striking the perfect balance between trendy and timeless.
Switch it: Handmade light switch plates turn any room up a notch in an array of hip themes and patterns – from a graphic “You are here” design to a pastel on-off “Playing” and “Sleeping” switch for baby’s room. our impact: We do our best to have minimal impact on our environment by using post-industrial scraps (i.e., seatbelts and upholstery and fabric remnants), all of which would be destined for the landfill. newsletter: If you'd like to receive "STUFF", our bi-annual newsletter and/or seasonal promotions (~2 per year), please sign up below. customization: Custom orders generally take 2-3 weeks to produce. From date of purchase, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Please note that this time varies based on availabilty. If you need an item sooner, please email or call us and we'll do our best to accomodate. Custom orders may not be cancelled or returned.
shopping online: Our shopping cart is managed through Paypal, a global leader in safe online payment solutions. Credit cards are accepted and you do not need an account with Paypal in order to make a purchase.
We also have a shop on Etsy, an internet marketplace for buying & selling all things handmade. There may be items in our Etsy shop that are not on our website.
